Quranic Studies Objectives

Preschool (3-5)

  1. Memorize short surahs from Juz’ Amma.
  2. Understand basic meanings to help students memories surahs in an easy fun way.
  3. Learn proper letter pronunciation.

Age Group 1

  1. Learn small surahs from Juz’ Amma.
  2. Learn specific Ayat  from the Quraan with special meanings and teachings that help them cherish their identity as Muslims.
  3. Learn Ayat from the Quraan with interesting stories that help them bond with and enjoy their time with their holy book.
  4. Use simplified drawings ( mind maps) to help kids memorise surahs in an easy fun way.
  5. Learn proper letter pronunciation.

Age Group 2

  1. Learn simple “Tajweed” rules.
  2. Learn proper letter pronunciation.
  3. Learn Surahs from Juz’ Amma.
  4. Learn specific Ayat  from the Quraan with special meanings and teachings that help them cherish their identity as Muslims.
  5. Learn Ayat from the Quraan with interesting stories that help them bond with and enjoy their time with their holy book.
  6. Learn the interpretation of the Ayat using simple mind maps built through teachers’ explanation and kids’ interactive brainstorming during class.
  7. Learn to read from the Quraan ( while implementing simple tajweed rules).

Age Group 3

  1. Learn Tajweed rules.
  2. Learn proper letter pronunciation.
  3. Learn to read from the Quraan while implementing Tajweed rules.
  4. Work on “tadabor”(interpretation) of the read Ayat, which helps them build their passion towards Quraan.
  5. Build their own mind map of the explained Ayat, which will help them understand the meaning of it.
  6. Learn specific Ayat from the Quraan with special meanings and teachings.
  7. Learn Ayat from the Quraan with interesting stories that will make their time spent with the Quraan an interesting and appealing experience.
